Salzburg’s Sebastian Gishamer whistles Youth League hit Milan against Atletico Madrid

There is an international highlight for Salzburg’s number one referee Sebastian Gishamer. The Seekirchner has been put in charge of the UEFA Youth League quarter-final smash between AC Milan and Atletico Madrid.

While the season in the Youth League is already over for the Red Bull Salzburg U19s, a local referee has an appearance in the quarter-finals. The match takes place in Italy on Tuesday. Gishamer is supported on the lines by two colleagues from Salzburg, Roland Riedel and Markus Reichholf.

Gishamer also made his unexpected international debut in the Youth League. When the referee was injured in Red Bull Salzburg’s match once morest Sporting Lisbon in 2018, Salzburg, who acted as the fourth official, stepped in and brought the game to a confident end.
