Salomón Rondón wins the 2024 Copa América silver boot

Venezuelan Salomón Rondón had one of the best performances in Copa América 2024, with the Creole at his best, both with the national team Red wine as with his club Pachuca of Mexico.

The forward was ranked second as the top scorer in the continental competition, and was only surpassed by Lautaro Martínez, champion with Argentina, who scored five goals in six matches.

“El Gladiador” scored three goals and provided one assist in four matches played, being one of the most important players that Fernando “Bocha” Batista had in his lineup.

These goals also served to reach the milestone of being the top scorer for the Vinotinto in the oldest tournament for national teams.

The Venezuelan footballer has scored 6 goals in the Copa América, a position he shares with José Luis Dolgetta.

20 games for Solomon Rondon

With his starting position in all four games he played with the national team, Rondón became the Venezuelan with the most appearances in the history of the tournament, with 20, tying another great legend in Venezuelan football, Juan Arango.
