Eagle brand frozen corn is being recalled due to possible contamination with Salmonella bacteria.

The product affected by the recall was sold in a 1.75 kg format and bears the UPC number 0 55722 96964 7 as well as the expiration date 02/01/2025. It was marketed in Ontario and possibly other provinces, said the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).
The CFIA also indicated that food contaminated with Salmonella bacteria can cause several health problems, including fever, headache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea.
People in possession of these products are asked to throw them away or return them to the store.
