Bollywood Dabangg actor Salman Khan has once again received a threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang over a song linking him to the notorious gangster. The threat was sent to the Traffic Control Room in Mumbai on Thursday.
The threat was made in reference to a song that allegedly linked both Salman Khan and Lawrence Bishnoi, saying that the lyricist would face severe retaliation within a month.
After Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan also threatened, call from Chhattisgarh
According to the report, the new threatening message demanded Rs 5 crore from actor Salman Khan and also threatened to kill a lyricist, who wrote a song about Lawrence Bishnoi.
The message directly challenged Salman Khan and said that if Salman Khan has the courage, he should save this song writer.
The incident has triggered a series of threats against Lawrence Bishnoi and his associates, who had earlier targeted the Bollywood actor over issues related to the blackbuck poaching case since 1998.
Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police is investigating another case of death threats to actor Shah Rukh Khan and an extortion of Rs 50 lakh. A call to the Bandra police was traced to a phone registered to Raipur lawyer Faizan Khan, who said his phone was stolen on November 2 and suspected a conspiracy.

**Interview with Bollywood Insider on Recent Threats to Salman Khan**
**Interviewer:** Today we have with us Rajiv Mehta, a well-known Bollywood analyst and commentator. Rajiv, the recent threat to Salman Khan from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang is raising several alarms, especially given that this isn’t the first time he’s faced such issues. What are your thoughts on the implications of this incident for Bollywood?
**Rajiv Mehta:** It’s quite alarming, to say the least. This shows that the nexus between the film industry and crime is still prevalent, and it could foster an environment of fear among artists. Moreover, the public reaction to such threats often oscillates between outrage and sympathy, which only complicates matters further.
**Interviewer:** Absolutely. And with the mention of a song connecting Salman to Lawrence Bishnoi, do you think artists should be more cautious about their creative expression, given the volatile nature of such threats?
**Rajiv Mehta:** While creativity should never be stifled, this situation underscores the risks artists can face. There’s a fine line between artistic expression and personal safety. The question is: should creative freedom come with a price, particularly when it can incite violent reactions from criminal elements?
**Interviewer:** That’s a deeply thought-provoking point. And considering the parallel threat to Shah Rukh Khan for a separate extortion case, do you think this represents a broader trend where Bollywood personalities are now seen as lucrative targets for gangs?
**Rajiv Mehta:** It certainly appears that way. The big names in Bollywood, like Salman and Shah Rukh, have significant visibility and wealth, making them targets for extortion. This trend raises questions about security measures for public figures and the responsibility of the industry to protect its talent.
**Interviewer:** Lastly, Rajiv, do you think there should be a collective response from the film industry to push back against such threats?
**Rajiv Mehta:** Absolutely, a unified front can send a clear message that the industry will not tolerate such intimidation. This could also pave the way for stronger alliances with law enforcement to ensure the safety of artists. But the challenge is convincing all stakeholders to come together for a common cause.
**Interviewer:** Well, that’s food for thought for our readers. We’d love to hear your thoughts. Do you believe that artistic expression should ever be compromised for safety, or should artists take a stand regardless of the risks? Let’s discuss in the comments below!
