KOMPAS.com – Indonesian Idol 2023 Champion, Salma Salsabil admitted that she once wanted to go home and leave the Indonesian Idol event she was currently running.
That moment occurred when Salma Salsabil passed the top 10 round of Indonesian Idol.
“When I was on Indonesian Idol, I wanted to go home, I left, when I was in the top 7,” said Salma Salsabil, quoted from the Tuah Kreasi YouTube channel, Friday (16/6/2023).

Salma Salsabil admitted that this happened because she felt lonely after her close friend, a fellow contestant, had gone home earlier because she was eliminated.
After her close friend was eliminated, Salma Salsabil no longer had friends to discuss with and so on.
“Because at first it was just fun at Indonesian Idol, hanging out together, chatting, now friends hanging out and chatting are already out,” said Salma Salsabil.

Salma Salsabil did not deny that she even lost her enthusiasm and motivation because of this.
“Then I think about what to do on Idol, I want to leave, so there are phases I want to just go home and so on, my friends have already left, it’s quiet, isn’t it,” said Salma Salsabil.
Luckily, Salma Salsabil was able to regain her lost enthusiasm and motivation.

Unmitigated, Salma finally managed to take part in the Indonesian Idol 2023 event until the last stage, aka the grand final, and came out victorious.
Salma herself’s full name is Salma Salsabil ‘Aliyyah Putri Mandaya.
Salma was born on February 12, 2002 (age 21) Probolinggo, East Java.

Before becoming the champion of Indonesian Idol, Salma Salsabil had to experience struggles at various singing events.
Salma had participated in the Little Idol, The Voice Kids, The Voice, Rising Star, Hijab Hunt, and Indonesian Idol.
Currently, Salma is a student majoring in Music Presentation at the Yogyakarta Indonesian Art Institute.
