Sales of Iranian IKCO Tara cars in Russia: model overview, possible prices, September 2022 | NHS

An interesting question is the price. In Iran itself, a model with an “automatic” costs from 800 million rials – regarding 1.1 million rubles. But to this you need to add duties, excises, recycling fees and VAT, and this is another 600 thousand. As a result, it turns out that the average versions of Tara can cost regarding 1.7 million rubles, the basic ones, apparently, within 1.5 million. From the point of view of pre-crisis prices, this looks absurd, and even today, for 1.5+ million rubles, you can buy a much more understandable Hyundai Solaris. But if their production is not resumed, the empty niche of cars priced at 1-2 million rubles may well become the target of Iranian brands.
