In the Constitution Plaza they will have sales and activities during Easter 2023for all Guatemalans who attend the Historic center.
During 9 days of the Major week Guatemalans who do not go out to the departments will be able to enjoy various activities in Guatemala city. Batteries then!
Sales and activities during Holy Week 2023 in Plaza de la Constitución
The Guatemalan Municipality organized activities of popular trade during Holy Week so that all people can sell their businesses.
This activity will have 211 commercial stands that will help entrepreneurs in the textile area and some cooperatives.
Activities during Easter 2023
The trading posts will have sales of typical food that Guatemalans like, such as garnachas, elotes locos, churros, fritters and muffins.
In addition, they will be able to enjoy the typical sweets and items of the summer and religious season, for those who enjoy the processions.
Hours and locations
The project will be located at the Constitution Plazaon 6th and 7th avenue, between 6th and 8th street in zone 1, from Saturday April 1 to Sunday April 9.
Sales will open at 8 am, but the closures will be different. These are:
- Saturday 1 and Monday 3 April until 11:00 p.m.
- Sunday 2, Tuesday 4 and Wednesday 5 April until 10:00 p.m.
- Thursday 6 and Friday 7 April until midnight
- Saturday April 8 until 9:00 p.m.
- And the closing that will be on Sunday, April 9, until 6:00 p.m.
Other activities
In the Historic Center there will also be other activities such as the Guatemala City Giant Carpetin which Guatemalans can participate.
In addition, on Monday, April 9, 2023, there will be a show by the Choir of 900 girls from the Girls’ Village. The activity will be at 7:00 p.m. in the Plaza Central. What a chili!
