Salem City Hall Holds Holiday Donation Drive for Angels for Animals

City Hall is rallying behind a local animal rescue organization this holiday season. Salem City Auditor Sal Salvino announced during Tuesday’s city council meeting that City Hall will be holding a donation drive for Angels for Animals now through December 29th. The drive will run daily from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Donated Items Checklist

Salvino detailed the most needed items, offering a resource for residents looking to participate in this act of kindness. For feline friends, cat beds and toys are always appreciated, alongside

Temptation and Churu cat treats, and both wet and dry adult cat food. Canine companions can benefit from Kong toys, peanut butter without xylitol, spray cans of cheese for a special treat, and dry and canned dog food.

Drop-Off Information

Donations can be dropped off at the designated site “right outside the door” of city council chambers.

“If you could find it in your heart to pick up a bag of food, or peanut butter, or a toy for a dog for Angels it will be from today until the 29th of December,” Salvino urged, appealing to the community’s generosity.
