Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi: The UAE supports international efforts to preserve the bee production environment

Sheikh Engineer Salem bin Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Civil Aviation in Ras Al Khaimah, and Chairman of the ANHB Group for the production of bee honey, stressed the importance of the efforts undertaken by the UAE in the field of environmental sustainability by supporting the international strategy to protect endangered species. He noted the country’s experience in preserving and multiplying the national environment for bees and increasing the UAE’s output and exports of bee honey to international markets, among the best global experiences, in line with its efforts to preserve other natural life as an approach and framework that enjoys the priorities of supporting the rational leadership.

This came in a speech by Sheikh Engineer Salem Al Qasimi during his participation in a symposium organized at the United States Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, in which a group of bee industry experts in the countries of the region and officials from the American company Family Search participated.

The symposium reviewed working papers on the most prominent plans and efforts to improve bee production at the level of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the world, in addition to the participation of a number of beekeepers in the state of Utah.

Sheikh Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi stated that supporting investment in the bee industry, preserving it and accumulating its outputs, is linked to the Emirati traditions and vision in facing the challenges of nature and climate in the country, which entailed promoting sound strategies that achieve profits for investors in that industry in parallel with their interest and giving priority to the state’s vision in the province. on the environment.

He noted the development of the UAE society and the cohesion of its family concept over the centuries and decades under the directives of the wise leadership that established the pillars of a distinguished experience that strengthened the growth process and provided the best values ​​of coexistence and cooperation of all to achieve the desired goals.

Sheikh Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi reviewed his experience in the development and propagation of bees through an innovative scientific and economic environmental project, the Bee Garden, which has become a destination for international tourism with its residence in the Hatta Mountains and the environmental scene it provides for the bee industry in the UAE and the preservation of Emirati traditions aimed at preserving The environment throughout the ages, up to the impressive successes and tangible development that the state has achieved.
