Al-Marsad newspaper: The journalist writer Talal Al-Qashqari said that the salary of 5,000 riyals is not enough for the needs of the Saudi citizen, due to the high cost of everything that is bought or sold, as he described it.
And he added in his article in Al-Madina newspaper: “The inflation of utility bills and premiums, and the multiplication of their forms. The employee’s salary lost its luster that it was in the past, and following the salary was limited, it became threatened.”
He continued: “The salary depletes quickly during the first days of spending it, and it is impossible to save with it, and for this reason, the phenomenon of people borrowing from banks and from each other has brightened, like the shining of the sun in the fourth of the day.”
Al-Qashqari continued: “We may not find a citizen who is an employee who is not a borrower, in many periods of his life, and the salaries of employees, especially in the private sector, may not reach this amount, i.e. 5,000 riyals. from the sides.”
He concluded: “In my opinion, the settlement of jobs is very important, but resettlement is not only the displacement of the foreigner from a job and the replacement of the citizen in it, this is incomplete settlement.
