Luis Enrique takes over the management of the Parc des Princes and the PSG bench.
After Julian Nagelsmann, long given in mind for the position, it’s finally Luis Enrique which will become, according to several French media, the next coach of Paris Saint-Germain. The 53-year-old Spanish technician will succeed Christophe Galtier, who is also still officially the coach of the club’s flag team, as long as he has not been dismissed.
Luis Enrique should sign 2 years + 1 with PSG
Formerly at Barça, with which he scored a hat-trick (championship, national cup and Champions League, in 2015), he also led AS Roma, Celta Vigo and the national team of Spain. Luis Enrique should commit to a two-year contract, for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 financial years, with an optional third season. And according to indiscretions from our Italian neighbors, receive a salary of 8 million euros net annually, excluding performance bonuses.

The Champions League as its main mission
And performance, Luis Enrique will first have to accomplish one: win the Champions League following which PSG is still running. Because the rest, namely Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France, will be more of an obligation in his attributions, as the collective he will lead has been dominant for more than a big decade already, on national territory.
