With the blessed Eid Al-Adha approaching and with the rise in prices, citizens are wondering about the prices of meat and the date of disbursement of salaries and pensions, especially since the blessed Eid Al-Adha falls on the last days of June; Therefore, the Egyptian government is implementing the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to pay salaries and pensions before the blessed Eid Al-Adha, and to provide municipal meat in all outlets at reduced prices to meet the needs of all members of the people.
Payment of salaries and pensions
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi issued a decision to the Ministry of Finance to pay salaries and pensions for the month of June 2023, two weeks before the date of Eid Al-Adha, so that all citizens can purchase all their needs before the holiday. This is to bring joy and pleasure to all Egyptian homes.
The June salary is paid starting from June 18th, meaning that salaries are paid a week before Eid Al-Adha.
The Takaful and Karama pension was also paid two weeks before Eid Al-Adha in mid-June, and the Takaful and Karama pension was increased last April by 25%.
Eid Al-Adha holiday
The blessed Eid Al-Adha holiday was decided for this year, starting from Wednesday, corresponding to June 28, 2023, until Sunday, corresponding to 7/2/2023, meaning that the duration of the vacation is five days, and the Ministry of Tourism has prepared for all summer resorts, so that citizens can enjoy their holiday in the holiday, whether on beaches, parks, or By traveling within the Egyptian governorates to enjoy the Eid vacation with the family.

The Ministry of Agriculture prepared to meet the needs of citizens of meat during the blessed Eid Al-Adha, as several contracts were concluded with different countries to import 170 thousand heads, divided as follows:
- 105 thousand heads of fattening calves.
- 45 thousand heads of calves sacrificed immediately.
- 20 thousand sheep.
- In addition to 180,000 heads that were imported and fattened locally.
- All this in addition to local production.
