“Lebanon Debate”
The great artist Salah Tizani, “Abu Salim,” suffered a health problem, as a result of which he was transferred to Al-Maqasid Hospital in Beirut.
This matter worried the fans of the artist who brought laughter to all Lebanese homes and who carefully followed his health condition. What are the mosques in his condition?
In this context, the head of the Actors Syndicate in Lebanon, Nima Badawi, confirmed to Lebanon Debate, “Abu Salim underwent an RMI scan today, and it turned out that he did not suffer any stroke.”
He pointed out that “Abu Salim is suffering from some infections today, and following ensuring that his condition became stable, he was transferred to Rizk Hospital in Beirut, to complete his treatment.”
He confirmed that “Tizani had suffered from seasonal flu symptoms, so his temperature rose. He was placed in intensive care, and he entered a coma for a short period due to complications.”
He reassured that “his health condition is good today, but he is still in intensive care under observation, and it is expected that he will be transferred to a regular room between today and tomorrow according to what will be diagnosed by the treating physician.”
He touched on the rumors that always affect a large number of actors, stressing “the necessity of verifying the accuracy of the news before publishing it.”
Salah Tizani was born in the city of Tripoli in northern Lebanon. He began his artistic work in Tripoli’s theaters and schools with comedic roles. He produced television comedy series with the launch of Lebanon Television in 1959, and continued to present them with his band, known as the “Abu Salim” band, on a permanent weekly basis until 1975, when the show stopped for years due to the Lebanese war. He returned to following it in the nineties in a sophisticated way, adding singing to his themes. In 2000, Dubai TV produced a new series with the same characters.
Tizani acted in the Rahbani brothers’ plays with Fairouz, and also participated in a number of Lebanese and Arab cinema films.
