Young Harvey Elliott, the Liverpool player, revealed that his fellow Egyptian star prevented him from eating white bread and ordered him to eat brown bread instead, expressing his gratitude to the club’s historic scorer in the English Premier League for adopting and helping him.
Elliott suffered a serious injury that kept him away from part of last season, but he returned this season and played 41 matches with Liverpool, scoring 5 goals, while providing two assists.
The young player said to the “We Are Liverpool” blog, which is co-hosted by former star Robbie Fowler: Muhammad follows me incredibly, he does it for my benefit and I know that perfectly, once we were in the preparatory camp, and he watched me take white bread and put it next to me, I used to eat it with every meal, and he came running and said, “No, no, don’t eat this.” He put the white bread back in his basket and said, “Here, eat the brown bread.”
And Harvey followed: I was amazed, he is keen on everything even feeding me, watching me in and out of training to help me, what has happened so far in my career the bulk of the credit goes to Mohamed Salah, and I don’t think there is a better role model than the Egyptian star, he goes to The gym is an hour and a quarter before the regular training session, and in matches he makes me play my way, and I know full well that he is behind me to help me when I need him, and this is one of the thousands of stories I lived with the Egyptian scorer.
