Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp revealed the advantages that the offensive partnership of Egyptian duo Mohamed Salah and Uruguayan Darwin Nunez will produce.
The duo, Salah and Nunez, succeeded in saving Liverpool from losing last Saturday once morest Fulham in the first round of the English Premier League, as each player scored during the meeting that ended in a 2-2 draw.
And regarding the brilliance of this duo, Klopp said during a press conference held today, Friday: “It is an exceptional partnership between Salah and Nunez for sure.”
He added, “Both of them are determined to score and be in crucial areas in front of the opponent’s goal, which is something that makes us very happy in Liverpool.”
And he added: “Mohamed Salah is in a really good moment in his career, and Darwin is scoring goals, although he still needs more time to harmonize more.”
He concluded: “Even Luis Diaz starred despite missing a goal once morest Fulham. In fact, the offensive part did not pose a problem for us once morest Fulham, but what happened was caused by the weak start and the absence of the required combat, especially in the first half.”
It is noteworthy that Salah and Nunez are the top scorers for Liverpool in all competitions this season, with two goals for each player, whether in the Charity Shield or the Premier League.
