An English press report indicated that the Spanish club Barcelona contacted the Egyptian player, Liverpool star, Mohamed Salah, to include him in the ranks of the Blaugrana, starting from the season after next, in a free transfer deal.
According to the English newspaper, “Mirror”, Barcelona is armed with 235 million pounds, which it earned from the rights to sponsor the (Spotify) platform, and began thinking about renewing the team, in order to fight for titles locally and in Europe.
This amount will allow the team to conclude several deals and bring in stars with high salaries, such as Salah.
And the English newspaper continued, “Salah, who is still linked to a contract with Liverpool that ends with the end of next season, promised to move to Barcelona in the summer of 2023.”
The report indicated that “the Barcelona and Salah agreement is the main reason behind the Egyptian star’s procrastination in renewing with Liverpool, despite informing some of his close friends a few months ago that he was ready to sign a new contract with the Reds.”
It is noteworthy that Salah recently stated that he will continue with Liverpool next season.
