Dear readers

On March 4, 2022, the State Duma of the Russian Federation adopted a law on criminal punishment for “dissemination of deliberately false information regarding the use of the Russian Armed Forces”, conviction, calls to prevent the use of Russian troops, as well as approval of sanctions.
Sakh.com is forced to change the format of work due to the new “fake law”.

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin yesterday announced the expansion of the list of countries where Russian airlines will be able to go without restrictions. He did this at a meeting with a faction of the ruling party in the State Duma. Previously, restrictions appeared during the pandemic, and since 2020 the list has been constantly adjusted.

– The incidence rate is on the decline, which means it’s time to expand the destinations that are available to our Russian airlines. Now they can fly without restrictions to 15 countries, and now we are resuming relations with 52 countries, the Prime Minister said and emphasized that airlines will fly to friendly countries.

The operational headquarters for the fight once morest coronavirus later posted a complete list of countries where, from April 9, charter aircraft and regular flights will be able to fly without restrictions. Friendly air communication has been established with the following states: Algeria, Argentina, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Brazil, Venezuela, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Egypt, Zimbabwe, Israel, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Iraq, Kenya, China, North Korea, Costa – Rica, Kuwait, Lebanon, Lesotho, Mauritius, Madagascar, Malaysia, Maldives, Morocco, Mozambique, Moldova, Mongolia, Myanmar, Namibia, Oman, Pakistan, Peru, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Serbia, Syria, Thailand, Tanzania, Tunisia, Turkey, Uruguay, Fiji, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, South Africa and Jamaica.

The sharp opening of new destinations is due to the fact that Russians cannot visit unfriendly states (the EU, Japan and others) and spend peaceful holidays there due to sanctions. To develop domestic tourism, a tourist cashback program was launched, but citizens turned out to be too active, and decided to turn ahead of time. Competition with other countries is needed to somehow keep prices at domestic resorts.

Russia’s relations with unfriendly countries are not getting any better. On April 4, President Vladimir Putin signed a decree that suspends the points of international agreements between the Russian Federation and a number of countries (EU, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, Liechtenstein) in order to simplify the issuance of visas to citizens of both our country and the states named above.
