From Saturday August 6th to Sunday September 4th, Daniel Roblin returns to Espace Orlando with the “Instants” photo exhibition. It is divided very harmoniously between moving portraits of distant peoples on the one hand, and sites and panoramas closer to us on the other. It is magnified by the capture of a light, an unusual angle of view or quite simply a splendid harmony of colors revealed by the photographer.
Since 2015, his exhibitions have multiplied: Madeleine Church in Paris, several places in Brive-la-Gaillarde, Toulouse, Bordeaux, etc. He has been the guest of honor at several photographic art festivals.
Born in Vitry-sur-Seine, in Val-de-Marne, in 1953, Daniel Roblin lives in Corrèze. Childhood vacations with a nurseryman uncle gave the artist the desire to go elsewhere to see if there were warmer skies and greener horizons.
The objective allows a relationship with the other
For six years with his wife Kedie, their place of life was also that of welcoming a varied public, including many children from the region. Live performance, like that of the Aurillac festival, has become a favorite subject.
He discovers that the objective can allow a relationship with the other.
This relationship may have been desired for a long time, during a stay with the Hamers of Ethiopia. Distant trips, off the tourist trails, to Rwanda, Yemen, Madagascar, India, Burma, etc. are rich in experience. Daniel and Kedie travel with their bags on their backs, on foot or with public transport. A great adventurer, as close as possible to the populations he discovers, Daniel invites people to share portraits imbued with dignity, compassion and humanity. “For me, each look is a story, a piece of humanity that you have to know how to let yourself be told”. The “Instants” exhibition is a real invitation to emotion.
In another area, he was recently asked by a publishing house to illustrate six books on the remarkable sites and landscapes of Limousin, Creuse, Périgord, etc.
To be seen every day except Monday, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Parking: access for people with reduced mobility. FREE ENTRANCE.
