Saint Hernin. The Creole company gave a concert for Musique en fête

The Compagnie Créole has existed for forty years, and on Saturday evening, it stopped in Saint-Hernin (Finistère) for a concert. On the occasion of the 8th edition of Musique en fête, Saturday July 2, on the Place de la Halle, in front of more than 1,300 people from all over Brittany, and even from further afield, you might see cars in the parking lot registered in Switzerland, Belgium, Germany and Great Britain.

An edition that the people of Saint-Herninois will remember, as Eugénie Baudoin, president of the festival committee, points out:

“This 8th edition will go down in history. During a telephone interview, the singer of the group, Clémence Bringtown, had simply said to me: “Your voice pleases me, we will come to Saint-Hernin”.

The evening and the atmosphere were wonderful, at 6 p.m., the Klezmer ensemble had performed, then the show by the children of the festival committee was greatly applauded. I take this opportunity to thank all the volunteers, without them nothing would be possible, the security service and the hunters who manned the stands. »

The evening continued with the central Breton group SoulMates, who played Sweat Sugar or Lost With me, interpreted by the singular voice full of emotion of Julie Rabeau. Finally, the Compagnie Créole entered the scene: Guadeloupean Guy Bevert, Martiniquans Julien Tarquin and Clémence Bringtown and Guyanese José Sébéloué. A lot of joy on the faces, thunderous applause, for everyone, It was good for morale.

Clémence led the public to sing with her in Creole, supported by her daughter Joanna.

Finally, around midnight, the draw for the best costume contest was won by Caroline Le Borgne.
