The Bel Horizon association will organize on Friday April 14, at 7 p.m., at the town hall, a conference on breast cancer.
It will be led by Professor Florence Dalenc, an oncologist specializing in breast cancer. This specialist will discuss the different types of breast cancer, risk factors, current treatments and future prospects. Alongside him will also be Dr. Loïc Mourey, an oncologist specializing in prostate cancer. It will present the latest innovations in screening, diagnosis and management of this disease, which affects one in seven men in France. A nurse will explain the role of COACH follow-up, a personalized support system for cancer patients. She will give practical advice on how to live better with the disease on a daily basis.
