Marineros FSC and Gladiadores FS, both teams from Anzoátegui, experienced different realities on the second day of the Clausura Tournament of the Futve Futsal 1 2024 League.
The nautical team visited the runner-up of the first half of the year, Monagas Futsal, and managed to achieve a 1-1 draw and a victory (3-1) to add their first four points of the competition.
On the other hand, La Armadura, which played in the Luis Ramos gym on the Barcelona-Puerto La Cruz axis, was beaten 4-0 on Wednesday and rescued a 2-2 draw on Thursday, in the double presentation against Tigers.
Hit on the table
After falling in both matches on the first day against Tigers in Anaco, Marineros arrived at the Rutaca Sport Arena in Maturín with the tough mission of straightening their path against the powerful Monagas.
In the first match they agreed 1-1 with a great goal from Carlos Hernández to add their first point of the closing contest. However, in the second confrontation they gave the blow on the table that they needed to gain confidence and beat the locals 3-1.
Carlos Hernández scored for the second consecutive commitment to be one of the figures. He was joined by Wilker Tovar and Josué Soler to complete the trio of scores for the naval team, who now have four points.
Negative balance
For its part, Gladiators closed the second date with a negative balance, as they fell 4-0 on Wednesday and on Thursday they were barely able to get a 2-2 draw, with goals from Francisco Guevara and Henry Perozo.
La Aradura has only two accountants after four challenges played, so they are last in Group D of the Clausura Tournament of the Futve Futsal 1 2024 League.
Marineros is third with four points, Tigers is the leader with 10 and Monagas is second with five points.
