The total sales volume of complete vehicles in April was 166,600 units, compared with 419,500 units in the same period last year; of which, the sales volume of new energy vehicles was 37,800 units, compared with 50,400 units in the same period last year.
SAIC said today that in May, SAIC’s major vehicle companies, as well as parts, logistics, and auto finance companies are working together to speed up the recovery of production and sales. On the premise of maintaining a stable supply chain and logistics, SAIC’s subsidiaries OEMs are expected to gradually resume normal production in mid-May, and strive to reach the level of the same period last year in terms of vehicle production and sales that month. At the same time, SAIC Group said that in 2022, SAIC Group will strive to sell more than 6 million vehicles in the whole year, an increase of more than 10% year-on-year.
