SAFEEN acquires a ship to expand the capabilities of its underwater services

Safeen Group, operating under the umbrella of Abu Dhabi Ports Group, announced that its marine business unit, Seven Offshore, has acquired a support vessel; With the aim of improving the capabilities of the underwater services provided by the Sven Group.
The new ship, named “Seven Survivor”, was built in 2014, and before entering operation, it will undergo a comprehensive conversion process that includes the installation of an integrated diving system, to support the maintenance and repair of underwater pipes.
The ship has a solid track record of success in executing various projects in the Middle East region; It provided support services including inspection, repair and maintenance, as well as RCMP works.
Underwater Services
The Sven Survivor is a VS460MK3 underwater service vessel designed by Vic-Sandvik Design, capable of carrying 60 people, with a total length of 75.5 meters and a payload of 6,300 tons. It has a compact 80-tonne offshore winch with an active ripple compensating system (EHC), capable of completing missions to a depth of 2,000 metres.
