The government and the ruling party have come up with a plan to extend the safe fare system for three years.

However, it was nailed that the expansion of items to which the safe freight system was requested by the cargo union was not possible.

If the cargo items are expanded, there is a concern that the burden of logistics costs will increase.

“We decided to extend the sunset of the current safe freight rate system applied to containers and cement by three years, but to expand the items.”

At the same time, he announced that he would take a tough response to the cargo union strike.

“The government will listen to and communicate with the needs of the field, but will not tolerate acts that violate laws and principles under any circumstances.”

Prior to the announcement, the government decided on the relevant content through consultation with the ruling party, the People’s Power, yesterday morning.

This is because the National Assembly Act needs to be amended.

However, the Democratic Party is of the opinion that the number of cargo items to which the safe freight system should be applied should be increased, so a battle is expected.

The Cargo Solidarity immediately put forward a position that it might not accept the proposal from the government and the ruling party.

The Cargo Workers’ Union said, “The announcement of the extension plan without item expansion is a deception to the cargo workers and a trick to disrupt the announced general strike.”

At the same time, he repeatedly emphasized that the general strike will continue from midnight on the 24th.

To minimize damage from the strike, the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs plans to consult with the police and the military to introduce alternative means of transportation and prepare emergency transportation measures.
