He was the man behind the choice of musicians in some of the most popular series of Greek television, such as Sabbatogennenmi, Mom’s Cake, Wild Bees, 50-50. Stamatis was particularly loved, while with his guitar and his compositions he left a great history in the Greek rock scene.
Friends and relatives said goodbye to him with moving messages, and among them was Elena Akrita who wrote the following: “Stamatis Giatrakos the friend, the partner, the wonderful man who filled our lives with musical delights no longer lives here. This hurts a lot, Stamatis. And George and me and everyone who loved you.”
