If we wanted to save things, we could still, but we were just confused. It was like the fire was realy close.There were five of us in the house – mother, father, and my sister.”

His pain was palpable as he spoke about losing his father’s two motorbikes, a Vega and a Vario. “I didn’t have time to save any of the goods,” he lamented, “Mostly just the securities.”
