Among the available sacrifices, a buffalo calf can be obtained at a price of up to 125 pounds per kilo, a beef calf at a price of 140 pounds per kilo, and a sheep can be obtained at a price of up to 155 pounds per kilo. How to reserve the sacrifices of the Ministry of Agriculture

To facilitate the reservation process, citizens wishing to purchase sacrificial animals are encouraged to go to the animal production and services sector building in Dokki. Reservations are received on the sixth floor of the building, and reservations are made by visa only. The advance amount is paid upon reservation and the rest of the amount is paid upon receipt of the sacrifice. On the other hand, Mr. Al-Qaseer, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, confirms that the state is working to implement the mandates of the political leadership in strengthening the strategic stock of meat. It was approved to import 170,000 head of cattle, including 45,000 immediate slaughtered calves, 20,000 sheep, and 105,000 fattening calves. It is noteworthy that these quantities are in addition to the local production and the previous reserve, which is estimated at regarding 180,000 head. This step aims to control prices and meet the needs of citizens during the holiday.
