Sacramento defeated NBA champions Denver 135-106. Alexander Vezenkov played nearly 16 minutes in the win, finishing with 6 points, 1 assist and 1 steal. He made two of his seven field goal attempts, both of which were from the trio.
The first quarter was even, with Vezenkov entering the game at the end. The Bulgarian stayed on the court at the beginning of the second when he made his second triple. Towards the end of the part, “Sacramento” accumulated an advance. After the break, the “Kings” continued to have the advantage and increased the gap. Vezenkov reentered at the end of the third part and remained at the beginning of the fourth.
Malik Monk was the top scorer for Sacramento’s win with 23 points. Domantas Sabonis had another triple-double, finishing with 17 points, 17 rebounds and 10 assists. Keegan Murray also added 17 points. For Denver, Nikola Jokic finished with 23 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists.
With the success, “Sacramento” climbed to sixth place in the Western Conference of the NBA, having 30 wins and 21 losses. “Denver” is in fourth place with 36-17. Sacramento’s next game is against Oklahoma City on Sunday.
