Sabotage under the radar: What if it was Russia? | STERN.de

Acts of sabotage are increasing in Germany. There are many indications that the Kremlin is the mastermind – but the federal government is hesitant to name Moscow as the perpetrator. Why?

Unidentified people are burying explosives in the Palatinate near an important NATO pipeline that can supply the Bundeswehr with fuel in the event of war. In Brunsbüttel, a special drill drives holes in a liquid gas pipeline that is intended to ensure Germany’s independence from Russian gas. In May, a factory building belonging to the Diehl metal company, which produces anti-aircraft missiles for Ukraine, burned down.

Three recent cases. And three times the question: Can this all still be a coincidence? Or is Russia behind it?
