On June 13, 2023, Thierno Saadu Diakité, known as Saadu Mélodie, a young Guinean singer artist, announced the end of his collaboration with the production, distribution and management structure Tera Music. Saadu Mélodie had been hired by this structure for a 5-year production contract.

During an interview with our editorial staff, the artist, author of the flagship title “Djoma Nati” released on June 18, 2021, revealed the details of the end of his adventure with Tera Music. Although this information has not been made public by the two parties, Saadu Mélodie claims to have left the structure in a respectful manner. He mentions in particular the non-respect of the content of the contract as the main reason for ending their collaboration.

I signed in August 2019 for a 5 year contract in which I had to produce two albums. However, following 3 years, I only released two singles, one with a music video and the other with an audio version. I called the manager to tell him that it would be better to stop, because concretely, there was no promotion or management of my career. In addition, there was no one on the ground to follow up“said Saadu Mélodie.

Asked regarding any regrets regarding his signing with Tera Music, the young artist replied: “No, it’s another acquired experience.”

It should be noted that the Mandingo pop music star, Bebe Baya, is also a product of the Tera Music structure, which specializes in the production of artists.

As for Saadu Mélodie, he remains a talent to exploit and says he is open to any offer. He has three titles to his credit, including “Djoma Nati”, “Djabou Djabou” in 2022, and his latest track “Badholan” released on May 20, 2023.

We invite you below to discover the latest extract “Badholan” by young artist Saadu Mélodie.
