Moroccan singer Saad Lamjarred has been granted conditional release in Paris following he appealed his prison sentence for rape, his lawyers told AFP Thursday, noting that their client “will remain under judicial supervision” pending his new trial.
The lawyers said that the Paris Court of Appeal “accepted the request for release” submitted by his lawyers, Thierry Herzog and Jean-Marc Fedida, provided that Lamjarred was released on Thursday evening.
