“I want to know the orders, see them, because there are none,” the official explained during an interview with Caracol Radio from Colombia. “What there is is a general investigation for the arrest of people who burned down public buildings with people inside, that is very serious”.
Saab added that any leader who calls for people to take to the streets to lead violent acts will be arrested.
Asked about the whereabouts of Freddy Superlanoopposition leader arrested this weekThe attorney general explained that he is in excellent health.
“He has already been presented and the corresponding charges have been brought against him for being related to the acts of violence in the country. There are many elements of conviction in the telephone extractions that I cannot reveal at this time.”said.
Regarding the complaints about the actions of the State security forces in the recent demonstrations against the results of the presidential elections, Saab denied that protesters were repressed.
“There are no members of the security services involved, there are no names, there are none. There have been in the past. I have put several people in prison who committed excesses during demonstrations. Now, if there is evidence that they have committed a crime, they will be prosecuted.”hill.
