AMD releases new Ryzen Chipset drivers. This version 4.11.15.342 offers an important fix for Windows 11 22H2 users. It puts an end to crashes taking the form of BSOD (blue screen of death).
This is the most striking fact of these new 4.11.15.342 Ryzen Chipset drivers. AMD claims to have fixed a bug that caused BSODs on some computers. These crashes only occur on machines running Windows 11 22H2. However, these drivers come with a few known issues.
Sometimes custom installations fail to install the latest drivers while text alignment issues can be seen with the Russian language. A manual restart of the PC is necessary if the operating system is not in English. Finally, the giant indicates that the uninstallation summary log may incorrectly indicate the status of the uninstallation as failed on a non-English system.
Intel also faced an issue related to drivers. However, the situation necessitated the establishment of Restrictions from Microsoft. They affected Windows devices using certain SST drivers (Smart Sound Technology 10.29.0.5152 or 10.30.0.5152). Compatibility issues have been detected with configurations using an 11th generation Intel Core processor and Windows 11. In this case an error is possible accompanied by a nice blue screen.
