Ryan Reynolds, Valerie Bertinelli, Henry Winkler and more pay tribute to Betty White

Ryan Reynolds shared a heartfelt message honoring his longtime friend and co-star from “The Proposal,” who passed away on Friday at the age of 99.

Reynolds penned, “The world feels different now. She masterfully defied expectations. She reached a ripe old age, yet it still feels too soon. We’ll miss you, Betty. Now you’re in on the secret.”

Valerie Bertinelli, White’s “Hot in Cleveland” co-star, expressed, “Rest peacefully, dear Betty. Heaven must be incredibly radiant right now.”

Comedienne Kathy Griffin shared that White was always welcoming towards her.

“She treated me as if we were part of the same exclusive group,” Griffin tweeted in a lengthy post about White, “She truly treated me as an equal in the world of female comedians. She possessed both sharp wit and gentle wisdom …and regardless of time’s passage, there will be only one Betty White.”

The Martin Luther King Jr. Center conveyed their gratitude for White’s friendship.

Andy Cohen, scheduled to host a New Year’s Eve special with Anderson Cooper on Friday, tweeted, “Tonight, we’ll raise numerous toasts to Betty White’s AMAZING legacy!!!”
