It is a ruthless reckoning with German politics – and it comes from a German politician.
Johannes Winkel (32, CDU), head of the Junge Union, warns in BILD that Germany and the West are “facing social tipping points that can no longer be reversed at a certain point in time.”
Partly responsible for this: the negligent migration and integration policy of the past few years!

“For Jews, everyday life in Israel is safer than in the major cities of Germany, France and England, despite the hail of rockets from Hamas. In Germany, houses where Jews live are being marked with the Star of David once more following 80 years,” says Winkel. “What an unprecedented disgrace for our country.”
Winkel describes the political reaction as “helpless, sometimes naive appeals” that can do almost nothing to counter the “unbridled hatred of Jews on our streets.”
The impression arises that “Germany no longer has any identity, no self-confidence, no assertiveness”. “In complete contrast to tens of thousands of Islamists in Germany who know exactly that. Their demonstrations of power are declarations of war. Not just once morest Jews, but once morest democracy and freedom as a whole.”

“Fight not just in Sunday speeches, but on the streets”
Winkel calls on those responsible to declare war on the Islamists.
“Where are politicians who have the power to lead the fight once morest these enemies of the constitution not just in Sunday speeches, but on the streets? Those who have the courage to say: We are rigorously dismantling parallel societies in our cities – just like Denmark is doing successfully?” asks the Junge Union boss.
It is particularly bitter that these developments were foreseeable. “The bad thing regarding the pictures from Berlin, London and Paris is that only those who have been going through life completely blind can be surprised,” says Winkel. “Now is the time for German and Western politics to wake up.”
