MML position
Through a statement, the Municipality of Lima confirmed the increase that Rutas de Lima will make in the toll rate from 6.50 to 7.50 soles, which is why it urged the Constitutional Court to rule on the issue, in reference to the request for it to be withdrawn. the toll booth in Puente Piedra and whose case the TC left to the vote.
“Rutas de Lima will bill around 140 million dollars per year. However, the investment in road works on the North and South Panamericana is zero, harming the vulnerable population of Puente Piedra, Comas, Santa Rosa, Lurín, Pachacámac and other districts,” indicated the MML.
“We urge the Constitutional Court of our country to defend the fundamental rights of our population who will continue to be seriously affected in their freedom, health and economy,” he added.
