Russia is ready for negotiations on Ukraine, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on September 23 in New York. transmits RIA Novosti.
“Yes, we are ready to negotiate. But we will not consider any proposals for a ceasefire,” Lavrov said (quoted by RIA Novosti).
The minister made this statement at a press conference following the 78th session of the UN General Assembly.
Earlier – in the same place, in New York – the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry statedthat the “peace formula” of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is absolutely unrealizable.
Let us recall that Zelensky’s “peace formula” consists of 10 points, including “restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine and the world order” and “withdrawal of Russian troops and cessation of hostilities,” as well as “return of justice.”
