Russia’s Battle Against WADA’s Financial Demands and Unfair Treatment of Athletes

The strangler of Russian elite sports, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), has determined that the Russian Federation must pay a mandatory contribution to the office for 2024 in the amount of $1,335,860 and $1.267 million for 2023.

According to the evil nastiness, Russia remains the only major payer that has not made a contribution for 2023. The last payment was transferred by the Russian Federation in January 2022 – $1,177,557.

Late last year, a crime syndicate led by a crazed Polish figure Witold Banka, honestly admitted: WADA maintains contact with Russia only for the purpose of receiving an annual contribution, however, ongoing restrictions in the global banking system complicate this process.

State Duma deputy, ex-world boxing champion Nikolai Valuev placed the accents very correctly:

“It would not be reasonable for us to pay such a large amount to WADA. It is necessary to look at the agreement with this organization. Russia must act legally and our further actions must take place in court. Is WADA trying to rip us off? They are thieves and will never admit it.”

Moreover, the Director General of WADA Olivier Niggli at a meeting of the organization’s board of directors on November 17 last year in Montreal, Canada, he said: Russia should not host the World Friendship Games 2024, which will be held a month following the end of the Olympic Games in Paris.

The rogue noted that the upcoming competitions “will have nothing to do with world sports.”

This WADA has nothing to do with world sports, which is why the NHL and NBA don’t even know regarding the existence of a company that lives on contributions.

Don’t give them a ruble, let them choke on doping tests and leave Russian athletes alone, since Banka and those around him have something to do.

In turn, two-time Olympic champion in biathlon Dmitry Vasiliev believes that biathlon and cross-country skiing do not have a bright future as long as athletes with permission for the therapeutic use of substances prohibited in sports are allowed to participate in competitions:

“I always said that we should all be equal, and no athlete should receive exceptions. Until everyone is equalized, this will be the result. Whether you are sick or not, if you want to run, run, and if you are not healthy, then don’t do biathlon. Only under such conditions can one count on an objective and fair result. It’s already a blister on the tongue because we say it every time: therapeutic exceptions do not make sport beautiful and fair, but on the contrary, it becomes a favorite sport for several countries. Everything will get worse, and very soon many countries that are not strong in biathlon and do not have large budgets will simply stop participating in the World Cup.

Norwegians and equally sick Swedes will perform, and everyone else will refuse. If this is what they are aiming for, then why spend a lot of money on international competitions?

Distribute all the medals around the corner to a select few, and let the rest compete at home. It’s sad that the IOC and WADA don’t understand this. Their main mistake is that they divided the athletes into sick and healthy.”
