A frequently traveling Russian woman rested in Thailand and warned domestic tourists once morest dangerous animals living in the country. She shared her recommendations in a blog post on Yandex.Zen.

According to her, from April to October, poisonous species of jellyfish can be found in the Gulf of Thailand. The most dangerous among them are sea wasps and Portuguese boats, contact with which can cause cardiac arrest. “The purple flag on the beaches of Thailand means that jellyfish have been spotted in the water: refuse to swim if you spot one,” she warned.

Vacationers can meet another unsafe creature while walking through the rainforest – centipedes. When bitten by a centipede, it is recommended to consult a doctor, as the animal’s venom can cause swelling and numbness.
