Moscow. June 7th. INTERFAX.RU – Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, the Kremlin press service reported.
“Current issues of multifaceted Russian-Saudi cooperation were discussed. Attention, in particular, was paid to measures to further build up trade and economic ties, the implementation of promising joint projects in the areas of investment, transport logistics, and energy,” the report says.
“The subject of ensuring stability in the global energy market was thoroughly considered. Both sides gave a high assessment of the level of cooperation within the framework of OPEC Plus, which allows taking timely and effective steps to maintain a balance between supply and demand for oil. The importance of the achievements achieved during the recent ministerial meeting in Riyadh of agreements on this matter,” the press service emphasizes.
In addition, the parties touched upon various aspects of Russian-Saudi cooperation through other multilateral organizations, the Kremlin notes.
The President of the Russian Federation and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia also agreed to continue contacts at various levels.
