Russian Railways in June increased the volume of transportation of seafood from Primorye by a third

In June this year, 66,000 tons of fish products were sent to consumers by rail from Primorsky Krai. This is 30% more than in June 2021, the press service reports. Russian Railways.

The main volume of seafood was shipped to the consignees of the Moscow region (18.1 thousand tons), Siberia (16.8 thousand tons) and the Urals (15.3 thousand tons). Export shipments of fish from the railway stations of Primorye in June this year amounted to 13.2 thousand tons, of which 12.4 thousand tons went to China.

In total, since the beginning of 2022, export deliveries from Primorye by rail amounted to 354.6 thousand tons of fish products (+ 19.6% compared to the same period last year). At the same time, transportation of seafood in containers amounted to 265.9 thousand tons (+45.1%).

Po data Government of Primorye, since the beginning of the year, fishermen of the region have produced more than 460 thousand tons of aquatic biological resources. This is 9% more than in 2021.
