Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected on November 9 for an official visit to Kazakhstan, the Kremlin announced on Tuesday.
On this occasion, the Russian president will have talks with his Kazakh counterpart, Kassym-Jomart Tokaïev focused on the development of strategic partnership relations, specifies a press release from the Russian presidency.
The two sides will also discuss prospects for cooperation within the framework of integration associations in the Eurasian space, as well as current regional and international problems, adds the same source.
The visit program also includes the participation of the two heads of state in the plenary session of the 19th forum of interregional cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan, which will be held in Kostanay, a city located 581 km northwest of the capital Astana.
At the end of the visit, a number of important joint documents will be signed, the Kremlin concludes.
