Moscow. December 17. INTERFAX.RU – Deputy head of the United Russia faction Andrei Isaev said that at a meeting with the factions, Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed that all pensioners, and not just preferential categories, will be exempt from paying commissions for housing and communal services.

“The commission for payment of housing and communal services will apply to all pensioners, Putin confirmed this at a meeting with faction leaders,” he told reporters on Sunday.

Previously, the State Duma and the Federation Council adopted a law abolishing bank commissions on mandatory utility payments for citizens in need of social support. The list of specific categories of such persons must, according to the law, be established by the government of the Russian Federation.
