Russian Navy ship repels attack by Ukrainian unmanned speedboats in Black Sea

An attempt to attack the ship with six unmanned speedboats occurred on the night of June 11th.

The Azov ship of the Black Sea Fleet, which performs the tasks of monitoring and ensuring security along the routes of the Turkish Stream and Blue Stream gas pipelines, tried to attack six drone boats of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This happened on June 11 at regarding 1.30 am, 300 kilometers southeast of Sevastopol.

As specified in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, all enemy boats were destroyed by fire from standard weapons. No harm done. The ship remained intact.

– In this period, as in the course of previous similar attacks, the strategic reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle RQ-4B Global Hawk of the US Air Force conducted reconnaissance in the airspace of the central part of the Black Sea.

The ship “Priazovye” of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation continues to fulfill its tasks.

Recall that on May 24, the Russian ship Ivan Khurs, which was on a similar mission 140 kilometers northeast of the Bosphorus Strait, repelled an attack by three drone boats of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
