Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said today (2nd) that Russian troops carried out missile and drone strikes on Ukraine’s capital Kyiv and the northeastern Kharkiv region, killing at least four civilians and wounding 92.

President Zelensky said through Telegram that day that several air-launched ‘Kinzhal’ hypersonic missiles, which travel at 10 times the speed of sound, were dropped on these cities.

President Zelensky claimed that the Russian military has attacked Ukraine since the 31st of last month using about 170 drones and dozens of various missiles, mostly targeting civilian areas.

In relation to this, Archyde.com reported that gas pipes were damaged and electricity and water were cut off in some areas of Khuiwu.

Prior to the airstrike, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he would “intensify attacks” on Ukraine, noting that 24 people were killed in the Ukrainian military’s shelling of Belgorod on the 30th of last month.
