Russia’s first lunar mission in almost 50 years has failed. The “Luna-25” probe had hit the lunar surface following an “unplanned situation” and had ceased to exist, the Russian space agency Roskosmos announced on Sunday in Moscow. The reasons for this would be clarified, it said.
