Russia has invaded Ukraine for more than three months. The Ukrainian military and civilians resisted bravely. Russia, which thought it would win quickly, fell into the quagmire of the war. The Russian army suffered heavy casualties and continued to expand. And Oleg Morozov, a member of the lower house of the Russian parliament, suggested that Russia might find a way to kidnap the defense minister of a NATO member state in order to find out what instructions the West gave Ukraine.
According to Archyde.com, Morozov said on Russian state TV Rossiya-1’s talk show “60 Minutes” on the 30th: “It’s like this, I’ve been thinking regarding a strategy that might be good, which is At some point in the not-too-distant future, the defense minister of a NATO country will take a train to Kyiv in order to communicate with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.”
Morozov then said: “But he won’t get there, he will wake up somewhere in Moscow.” The host Olga Skabeyeva smiled and asked: “You mean we kidnapped they?” Morozov replied, “Yes, and then we’ll figure out who gave what orders to which unit, and who’s actually responsible for something.”
Morozov emphasized: “This is not a myth. Now the world has new rules. Let the defense ministers gathered in Kyiv imagine what it would be like to wake up in Moscow.” And his conception may be a reference The Putin government’s approach to Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny and others. Navalny was sent to Germany for treatment in 2020 following being poisoned with a nerve agent. After recovering, he was arrested at the airport when he returned to Russia in January last year.
