18 Russians entered the application for participation in the upcoming World Judo Championship. About it reported on the website of the International Judo Federation (IJF).
They will play at the tournament in Doha in a neutral status. The list includes bronze medalists of the Olympic Games in Tokyo Niyaz Ilyasov and Madina Taimazova.
The full list is as follows: Sabina Gilyazova (up to 48 kg), Alesya Kuznetsova, Anastasia Polikarpova (up to 52 kg), Darya Kurbonmamadova, Ksenia Galitskaya (up to 57 kg), Kamila Badurova (up to 63 kg), Madina Taimazova (up to 70 kg) ), Alexandra Babintseva (under 78 kg), Darya Vladimirova (under 78 kg), Abrek Naguchev, Yago Abuladze (under 66 kg), Mahmadbek Mahmadbekov (under 73 kg), Mikhail Igolnikov, Mansur Lorsanov (under 90 kg), Niyaz Ilyasov , Arman Adamyan (weight 100 kg), Tamerlan Bashaev, Inal Tasoev (weight 100 kg).

Two representatives of Belarus will also perform at the tournament: Yegor Voropaev (up to 90 kg) and Daria Kantsavaya (up to 78 kg).
The World Cup starts in the capital of Qatar on May 7.
The IJF announced last week that it had allowed Russian and Belarusian athletes to compete in international competitions in neutral status. They had to pass an independent review. On May 2, the IJF announced that eight Russians had failed this test and would not be eligible for the World Championships.
The Judo Federation of Ukraine decided to boycott the tournament due to the admission of Russian and Belarusian athletes there.
