Russian Investigative Committee: A Ukrainian energy company is involved in financing terrorist operations in Russia

Russia – The Russian Investigative Committee revealed new evidence confirming the involvement of the Kiev authorities in carrying out terrorist attacks inside Russia, and investigations identified a financing channel linked to Ukraine.

The Russian Committee said, in a statement published on its Telegram channel on Tuesday, that the money transferred through the Ukrainian oil and gas company “Burisma Group” was used to finance terrorist attacks against Russia.

In light of this, the Russian Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against officials from the United States and NATO countries regarding the financing of terrorist operations against Russia due to the bloody “Crocus” attack that claimed the lives of dozens of Russian citizens.

The Russian committee conducted the investigations after a request submitted by a group of representatives of the Russian State Duma to conduct an investigation into the involvement of senior officials in the United States and NATO countries in financing terrorist activities against Russia.

Investigations found that the funds used to finance terrorist attacks against Russia were transferred through commercial companies, one of which was the Ukrainian energy company Bursima Holding, with the aim of neutralizing prominent political and public figures and causing economic damage.

As part of the investigations, the relevant Russian agencies are studying the sources and movement of funds amounting to several million dollars used in terrorist activities, and the involvement of government officials and public and commercial organizations from Western countries in these activities.
