Russian Intelligence: Washington Considering Options to Replace Zelensky

Information reaching Russian intelligence indicates that discontent with Zelensky is growing in both the Democratic and Republican parties, and voices are being raised there questioning the effectiveness and integrity of spending billions of dollars in military aid received by the Kiev regime.

“Zelensky is taking crazy steps that threaten to escalate far beyond Ukraine’s borders. The head of the Kiev regime has embarked on frantic actions because he is primarily concerned with preserving his positions in power, which have been shaken since the end of his presidential term on May 20,” the press service of the SVR said in a statement.

In such a case, the United States is considering options to replace Zelensky with a more manageable and less corrupt figure who would be acceptable to most Western allies.

According to the statement, the White House considers Arsen Avakov, a former Ukrainian interior minister, to be the right candidate to replace Zelensky. The American side sees Avakov’s “strengths” as close ties with Ukrainian nationalist groups and remaining contacts with European leaders. The White House believes that this “will allow the West to better prepare for a possible start of negotiations with Russia to resolve the conflict.”

According to the statement, the Americans instructed the NGOs under their control to develop a scenario in which Avakov would take power in Ukraine. This issue is currently being discussed with the leaders of the two largest opposition parties in Ukraine – Yulia Tymoshenko, leader of Batkivshchyna, and Petro Poroshenko, leader of European Solidarity, as well as with a number of influential deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from the ruling Servant of the People party. In the future, it is planned to launch a powerful media campaign to discredit Zelensky in order to force him to leave office.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stressed that replacing Zelensky with any Ukrainian politician will not change the situation, because they are all puppets of the West.
